Couture Cuisine was founded by the husband and wife team of Lynda and Tomas Prado. Chef Tomas Prado's passion for cooking began at an early age, while watching his mother cook exquisite meals for family and friends. After graduating high school Chef Tomas began working in a family members restaurant gaining valuable experience in the restaurant business, while working in all functions of the restaurant. A few years later he assisted with the acquisition and build out of his families new restaurant, and this really sparked Chef Tomas' interest in the restaurant business.To further enhance his knowledge in the food service industry, Tomas decided to attend the highly regarded Culinary Arts Program at Johnson and Wales University. Upon graduation Chef Tomas went on, and has worked at various highly regarded kitchens throught the country, and most recently Chef Tomas worked at the prestigious Fisher Island Club in Miami Beach, Fl. This experience has given his cuisine refinement, and has exposed him to many cooking techniques that will enhance the flavor and texture of his food.
After several years of working in various sales and marketing positions in the corporate world, Lynda decided she wanted to have a more flexible, less-stress life style, and joining her husband at Couture Cuisine Personal Chef Service was naturally the right fit. With her extensive knowledge of sales and marketing, she is in charge of marketing, client relations and event planning for Couture Cuisine Personal Chef Service.
Chef Tomas is a proud member of the American Culinary Federation, and is Serv Safe Food Safety Certified.
